World record for Hong Kong Plague medal

In February 2017, we achieved a world record price for a gold Hong Kong Plague of 1894 medal. The rare civilian medal, of which only forty are thought to have ever been issued, was uncovered by Barbara, and sold to the internet for a staggering £21,000 (plus premium) to an Oriental buyer.
