Auction of Iconic London Street Signs

On behalf of Westminster Council, we are thrilled to be selling a collection of over 200 London street signs. The signs will be sold in a two week timed auction on thesaleroom.com from 17th February. Names include Cambridge Street, Westbourne Park Road, Fifth Avenue, Belgrave Place and the iconic Abbey Road.

These signs have the familiar black and red sans serif lettering which is under copyright and is forbidden to be copied anywhere else in the world without permission. Signs are sometimes stolen, graffitied or damaged, and Westminster Council need to replace them.

These signs have been on the streets of one of the worlds most famous capital cities, and a wonderful chance for buyers to purchase a genuine piece of the London's history. All signs will be sold with a signed Certificate of Authenticity.
