David joined the Catherine Southon team in February 2024, bringing with him over 20 years’ experience in antique, vintage and modern jewellery, and silver. 

David began his career in retail jewellery at the historic royal jewellers Bruford & Heming, and in 2008 was specially retained to help form the company’s restructuring team. He was senior sales consultant and manager of the Heming showrooms in the Burlington and Piccadilly Arcades, and served as manager of Bruford & Carr, a separate and distinct company under the Bruford & Heming umbrella. 

Among his wider interests are antiques and fine art of the 20^th century, with a particular interest in mid-century Danish silver and design, and the ceramics and decorative arts of the Bloomsbury group.
