Albert became an addition to Catherine Southon's team in January 2024 as an auction assistant. He has a master's degree in the history of art and archaeology from SOAS, University of London. Prior to this, he earned his BA from Leiden University in the Netherlands, where he studied international studies and art history, whilst between his studies, he undertook work experience in the impressionist department at Christie's.

Albert has a deep passion books, maps, and works on paper, with a particular interest in the British Romantics, travel, and exploration. This passion also extends to paintings, from Orientalist and folk art to contemporary works, and to modern decorative art and design, particularly Arts & Crafts, Art Nouveau and Art Deco.

His eclectic approach combines an appreciation for historical depth and a keen sense for aesthetics.
